How to Install httpfs2 software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

httpfs2 software package provides FUSE filesystem for mounting files from http servers, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install httpfs2

httpfs2 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the httpfs2 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep httpfs2 *

You will get with httpfs2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
